Presented by Cannes Premières –  a new section of the 74th Cannes Film Festival – Mathieu Amalric’s Serre-moi fort is a film adaptation of Claudine Galea’s comedy “Je reviens de loin”. One morning, Clarisse (played by Vicky Krieps), wife and mother of two children, packs her baggage and gets into her car, leaving the house where she lives and her family. A different story slowly emerges amid flashbacks and flashforwards, perspectives and memories.

Serre-moi fort will screen in the presence of director Mathieu Amalric, introduced by Laura Delli Colli, President of the Fondazione Cinema per Roma, and Sam Stourdzé, director of The French Academy in Rome.
